Procedures for Men

Body Lift
Belt Lipectomy

Belt Lipectomies, also known as the lower body lift, offer the a dramatic transformation of the mid and lower body. The procedure resculpts of the abdomen, hips, thighs, and buttocks. Belt Lipectomies are essentially an amalgamation of a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), a thigh lift, and a buttock lift. The body lift procedure is performed both on post-bariatric patients as well as patients who have not had weight loss. The body lift procedures transform patients that have experienced massive weight loss and have excess skin. Results can be just as dramatic in patients who in addition to a tummy tuck want a tightening of the skin in their thighs and buttocks. The body lift (belt lipectomy) has the advantage that it can be done in one surgical session, or in stages, depending on the patients needs.

You may already have a surgeon or you might be looking at financing options first, either way SurgeryLoans.com can help you understand your options.

Results

The results of a body lift are immediate. However, it may take as much as one to two years, or more, for the final results of the body lift procedures to fully develop. There will be scars evident; results are variable. You need to ensure you maintain a stable weight and exercise regularly. As your body ages, it is natural to lose some firmness. However, most of your initial improvement should be relatively permanent.
